It is a stone's throw from the beautiful 12th century church of St Blasius, with the duck pond edging the Big Mead park, where there is plenty of room to let the kids burn off any excess energy, or maybe just sit back, relax or enjoy a picnic.
Nearby you will find the safe, sandy beach, which is only a 10 Minute walk away, with excellent on-beach facilities, including Kayaks, Pedalos, beach shops (dependent upon time of the year), Cafes and children's entertainment centre, pubs and restaurants.
The heart of the Old Village is just a short stroll with its pretty thatch cottages, tea rooms, and the local taverns serving catch of the day and more.
